I don't have garage sales unless I have a ton of stuff to put out. I'm a huge garage saler but don't even bother stopiing if there isn't much out there. Most of m items I kept under $2 unles it was still new in box or something...I'd sa 1/2 of what the retail value was. I also did boxes where everything in one was $1 or another was all .50. All hanging clothes one set price. Makes it easier on you and the customers and give a good deal when the buy multiple items but don't get ripped off by cheap skates.

Okay, so my fiance and I love Superman and WW, so it's only right that we get married as such. The only ideas I could come up with was of course to get an authentic looking WW costume custom made with the cape that she sometimes wears in the comic books. I have a friend who's a really good drawer, so Im thinking he could draw a custom mini comic of us and I'd get it copied for the guests to have. And to maybe have the wedding on a really high rooftop that over looks the city. Also I need some DC characters for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, ringbearer, etc. Someone pleas help if you have any better ideas or suggestions. Thanks

I'm looking to open the ultimate hobby store?
I want to make my hobby shop have things people actually do for hobbies. So far our inventory is models, paints, comic books, rpg's, and buy and sell video games.What are some other things I should carry? What are some good ideas to generate business? Any ideas are welcome.
Don't forget to add anime merchandise such as figurines, keychains, knick-knacks if you are able to purchase these from a wholesaler. I would also (if your store is big enough) consider having a small area sectioned off where customers can either try out remote control cars or have card tournaments.
As for advertising, I would distribute flyers at your local shopping malls and post them in grocery stores and also an ad in your local paper. Have a drawing "give-away on your first day of business (maybe give away a nice remote control car or a $100 gift certificate).

I am looking to sell my comic book collection. I live in central Arizona and travel to the Phoenix area a little bit. The collection itself is pretty extensive (between 3000-4000) and mostly between 20 and 30 years old. The titles are mostly Marvel comics with some DC titles.
