People like the idea of someone dedicating their life to saving the world. Many superheroes have their origin in comic books. Batman is one such superhero. Developed in 1939 by Bill Finger as a detective comic strip, Batman has the ability to fly and has an arsenal of tools. Although Batman started as a vicious killer in his comic strip, he would later become the mild-mannered superhero who usually handed criminals over to the Gotham City police department. Choosing to have a party themed after Batman is a good idea for people of any age.

Whether it is a birthday party or a general celebration, a Batman party is appropriate for any age and gender. One popular idea is to have a Batman Friend or Foe costume party. I'm currently a teen and eternally a writer, at this point writing fiction (short stories and novels), but at some point I'd like to write for comic books. Particularly, the big superhero comics. Yeah, I had to choose the ambitious route. So, how does one break into the industry? Also, is there any way to make the transition from traditional writing to comic book writing, say, if I wanted to start out my career doing novels and then move on to comic books?
