A comic book creator is any one of a number of people working to create a comic book by one of the major comic book companies in the U.S. can involve a writer, a penciller, an inker, a colorist, and a letterer, typically overseen by an editor.
Depending on the type of production, the different roles can be taken on by different persons:
In most alternative and small press comics, the same person will write and illustrate, although it is still common for a separate person to produce the color separations, and sometimes the lettering.
Within the major US comic book publishing companies, (for example, DC Comics and Marvel Comics), a different person is generally assigned to each task, although exceptions - particularly in writing/pencilling or pencilling/inking - do occur.
In Japan, a mangaka usually writes and pencils his own work, and lets his assistants ink and editor letter.
In other cases, typically in most European comics, there are usually two or three artists involved: a writer, an artist who provides lettered artwork, and a colorist where necessary.
Editing houses will employ letterers when translating work, and it is not uncommon for them to utilise artists to retouch artwork to make it

Prado's animated feature film, De Profundis was released in 2007. Music: Nani García. Ainhoa Arteta e Carmen Rey. Moonfleet. Prado studied architecture, wrote novels and painted before his career in comics. He worked for several magazines and wrote delirious and fierce life-chronicles. He published his first albums at Les Humanoïdes Associés: Chienne de Vie (1988), C'est du Sport (1989) and Y'a Plus de Justice (1991). His best-known comic book is Trazo de Tiza or Trait de craie (Streak of Chalk, 1992). This is a dream-like, experimental "impossible" story about a man on an island, unable to distinguish dream from reality, or present from past. For this album, Prado won several awards, among others the Alph'Art for the Best Foreign Album at the Angoulême International Comics Festival, receiving this award for the second time; the first time was in 1991 for Manuel Montano. In April 2007 he was awarded the Grand Prize at the Salón del Cómic of Barcelona. Prado's animated feature film, De Profundis was released in 2007 Nani García é un compositor, arranxador, produtor e pianista coruñés. Estudou en Suecia nos 1976-1980 na escola Sollentuna, ao voltar tocou nos combos Filloa Express e Parabara até que en 1982 funda Clunia Jazz con Baldo Martínez e Fernando Llorca. Tras a disolución desta banda seguiu co seu trío e a traballar en trillas sonoras de diversos proxectos, asi como a exercer de produtor e a montar un estudo discográfico. Desde 1994 colabora con Uxia Blanco e Manuel Rico no Taller de Músicas Tradicionais, un proxecto para gravar temas tradicionais con novos arranxos. É unha das persoalidades mais activas do panorama musical galego do momento. Carmen Rey é unha cantante de jazz e mestra de música. Na actualidade ten unha banda propia coa que interpreta temas de jazz, soul, R&B ou funk. Antes formou parte da banda de Xosé Manuel Budiño e colaborou con Nani García.
