Forget Spider-Man, Let'S Talk About Marvel Comics Babes!

So many times when thinking of marvel comics we think about those spandex wearing guys like Cyclops and Captain America fighting crime and keeping the streets of the Marvel Universe safe. But what about the marvel comics babes? Just as powerful and much nicer to look at, these marvel comics babes light up the hearts, and other parts, of fanboys (and some fangirls) abroad.

Marvel comics babes come in many varieties, from the all-powerful like Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk, to the psychics like Jean Grey and Emma Frost, to the ultra-skilled marvel comics babes like Black Widow and Elektra. No matter what your preference may be, marvel comics babes will deliver.

Sometimes the marvel comics babes are more fun to read about than their male counterparts as well. Spider-Girl was nearing cancellation several times until fan outcries saved it each and every time. The comic reached triple digits before being repackaged with a brand new first issue. And Ms. Marvel is one of the popular marvel comics babes books as she has become a major player in the Marvel Universe the past few years. Even Spider-Woman, a long forgotten character, was reinvigorated in the past couple of years and became the standout star in the Avengers , until of course she was revealed to be the alien Skrull queen.

For every Spider-Man and Wolverine there are marvel comics babes that are every bit as exciting and entertaining. These marvel comics babes may not be long-lasting icons like the male heroes we know and love yet, and some of them may be thinly veiled clones of their male counterparts, but they are well on their way to that superstar status. With films like the X-Men films showcasing marvel comics babes like Jean Grey, Rogue and Storm, awareness of this other gender in tights has grown and will continue to grow.

And let's not forget about the villains either! With budding beauties like Mystique leading the charge in film, and characters like Diamondback and Moonstone tearing it up in the comics, there are plenty of female baddies to go around as well.

There are female superheroes for everyone to enjoy, no matter what type of stories you prefer, or what type of characters you like reading about or watching on the big or small screens. From Aurora to Lilandra, from Mystique to Zaladane, marvel comics babes are prevalent, in power and here to stay.
