Venom Costume Spiderman Super Villian

Halloween has been celebrated with great enthusiasm in the United States. This is hardly surprising considering Halloween celebrations include activities like trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and having costume parties, carving jack-o-lanterns, lighting bonfires and telling ghost stories, visiting haunted houses and watching horror movies.

Trick-or-treating originated from a European custom of distributing ?soul cakes? amongst the poor on All Saints Day in return for prayers. On the other hand, the custom of wearing costumes dates back to the Celtic origins of the holiday. Halloween is celebrated at the beginning of winter when the harvest season is over. It was believed that ghosts came to the earthly world on this day. In order to fool these ghosts into believing that they were one of them, people wore ghost costumes when they ventured out of their homes. They even placed food at the doors of their house so that the ghosts will be satisfied and not enter their homes.

What started as a custom to keep ghosts away had now become a merry celebration. Today, people young and old celebrate this holiday by dressing up in a variety of costumes. Earlier, costumes were created to fool ghosts. Today, there is no such significance attached to the costumes. Costumes today are pop culture icons, usually from films and TV shows.
Vemon is a very popular character from Marvel Comics. It is actually an alien without any particular shape or form, except a black goo-like jelly. It needs a host body to live in and it confers supernatural powers on the body that becomes its host. Venom is one of the arch enemies of Super Man. It appeared in the 2007 movie Spider-Man 3. It first uses Spider Man as its host, but when Spider Man rejects it, it falls onto Brook, who is seeking vengeance from Spider Man and makes him a Super Villian.

The character of Venom became extremely popular after this movie and reached near cult status among comic book fans. No wonder then, that it is also one of the most popular Halloween costume. One can imagine the thrill and excitement of dressing up as Spider Man?s arch enemy and walking into a costume party or trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. What makes it even more appealing is that it is one of the latest fashions as well as among the trendiest. For those who want to make a glamorous impression on Halloween, the Venom costume is a great choice.

The Venom Costume usually comes as a jumpsuit with a special muscle chest. It also comprises of a full ski mask style head mask. The jumpsuit and mask are imprinted with the design of the Venom and look extremely impressive. However, it is important to remember that the Venom costume is amongst the latest and the trendiest and is likely to be expensive. It is hardly possible to create the exact variation of the venom suit at home, so be prepared to spend some cash if you want to show up in a venom costume this Halloween.
