This JUST in.... After years of straight jackets and Thorizine....the infamous "Skullbike" John, who was convicted of a 7 year long garden gnome murder spree spanning several (E)states and lawns, managed to escape a Metro psychiatric facility despite the intensity of the security systems in place. Investigators are looking into exactly how he managed to acquire the "tools" necessary for his dead bike's ressurection,especially since he was in the Maximum Security level of the facility in Solitary confinement.Officials are baffled and continue to speculate at "how he (Skullbike) conjoured up this plan? " He was convicted of Voluntary Malicious Gnomedom and other ornaMENTAL lawn crimes in 2003...he was sentenced to life under the GHF (GNOMES HAVE FEELINGS) act of 1997. Doctors at the facility have said he appeared to grow 'Even more dark and twisted,despite the medicine and daily therapy." Dr.Bud Wizer also noted that" the additional psychosis could have been caused by the continual playing of George Bush speeches in his cell" "I mean come on...even from a medical standpoint,the man is clearly insane" the doctor replied...."but George Bush ramblings could make the sane crazy, and obviously the crazy...crazier" Skullbike's case stirred a huge amount of controversy over the perceived continuation of discrimination against the Gnomadic people. The ACLU (American Concrete Lawn Users)took a severe stance saying "that once a purchaser buys a lawn gnome...it owns them to use as they please". Opponents argue otherwise. The Rev. Al Dullton says " Gnomes are being treated as second class lawn ornaments. In what we call a "free society", a Gnome is STILL considered a "lesser being" than say a lawn Flamingo...WHY?? These Gnomadic people are literally a concrete part of American history...ask yourself...HOW many great lawns have been decorated off the sweat of their tiny brows?" Authorities are asking ALL citizens to be on the look out for the suspect, but URGE them not to approach him at any cost.Blood banks in the area are also on high alert as his DEATH CYCLE, as its known, only runs on pure human Plasma...preferably from someone wealthy as the plateletts are richer. Suspect was last seen on Route 666 headed southbound towards the Hell's Gate exit at a "deadly" rate of speed. As a side note..Police have asked local radio stations NOT to play "Highway to Hell" for the next 96 hours"

We're liking Gary Frank's artwork in Action Comics #863, but Alex takes issue with the level of excitement in this issue. The we've got another sneak review of Amazing Spider-Girl #19, a title we haven't yet reviewed on the show. It's pretty well done, but deals with a very small sphere of the Marvel universe. And in the speed round we check out Reich #2, Cable #2, Young Avengers Present Wiccan & Speed, Anna Mercury #1 and Walking Dead #48. In the mailbag, Ian asks us if there can be good villain books where the hero remains a bad guy throughout the book and there's no redemption. Find out what we think in this episode.
